Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS) Financial Services is responsible for providing Accounts Payable (AP) services to various Lockheed Martin (LM) and Sikorsky business area partners. This position's primary responsibility is to provide Accounts Payable accounting support on behalf of LM Sikorsky and their business areas. This position is primarily supporting Accounts Payable as a Discrepancy and Customer Service Specialist. This position will be responsible for researching and resolving errors on discrepant invoices and keeping backlog to a minimum in support of timely payments to suppliers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: - Support discrepancy resolution activities and process improvement initiatives for all PO related transactions to include down payment processing - Partner with buyers, invoice approvers to ensure appropriate approvals are in place - Partner with buyers, invoice approvers to resolve discrepancies, including those requiring site action - Support all aspects of data captured, including but not limited to DCI submitted invoice records, data upload files, Readsoft products -Ensure timely processing and verifying of invoices for both PO and NonPo based invoices -Perform customer service activities, including primary phone contact for business area and suppliers adhering to mandatory support hours as needed determined by business area, closing ITSM tickets as applicable, supporting audit requests and special projects Overtime including occasional weekend support is required on an as needed basis especially during peak times including year-end activities. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary. The Accounting Assistant Senior Specialist is expected to effectively perform AP functions while quickly adapting to AP systems and processes. A continued focus on staying within the boundaries of defined procedures and controls is critical to success. The position supports and meets tight deadlines on a continuous basis. WORK LOCATION FOR THIS POSITION IS AT A US BASED LOCKHEED MARTIN FACILITY IN LAKELAND, FL. Basic Qualifications -Proven effective analytical, research and problem solving skills demonstrated through related work experience - Demonstrated experience successfully collaborating with colleagues and co-workers (eg banking specialists, internal and external business partners). -Proficient Microsoft Office skills with a strong background in Word and Excel -Must be able to support a flexible work schedule (9x80) and ability to work flexible hours to support applicable time zones as needed.
