JOB SUMMARY: This is a Revenue Specialist II position in the Department of Revenues Child Support Program Court Process in the Lakeland Service Site. The incumbent will provide quality customer service and safeguard confidential information. Prepare cases, research information, attend and testify at hearings, update the computer system and meet with our customers before and after the hearings. Access and update information in the Child Support system. Initiate and respond to requests, coordinate with internal and external partners, gather information, research and resolve case issues. Interview customers face to face and/or over the telephone. Interact with customers, legal services providers, other states, employers and other business partners. Make decisions based on case information and documentation provided.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue in the Child Support Program as a Revenue Specialist II.
Did not accept a lateral transfer within the last 12 months (excluding hardship lateral transfers).
