Knowledge and skills Managers in Training develop:
By the end of our training program, MITs will be able to:
1. Complete and post the staff work schedules.
2. Recruit, interview, rewards and coach staff.
3. Communicate changes of food preparation formulas, standards, etc. to team members.
4. Ensure that all local and national health and food safety codes are maintained and company safety and security policy are followed.
5. Maintain business records as outlined in the SUBWAY(r) Operations Manual.
6. Analyzes business records to increase sales.
7. Support local and national marketing initiatives.
8. Identify and contact prospective customers to promote sales.
9. Plan special events and promotions.
10. Complete University of SUBWAY(r) courses as directed
Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
Experience working in a Customer Service with high detail and attention to customer satisfaction
A minimum of two (2) years in a restaurant environment
Experience in supervising and training staff
Able to operate a computerized point of sale system
Basic computer proficiency required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A valid Florida Drivers license and reliable transportation
The Manager in Training candidate is required to work in all areas of the store.
Must be able to bend, push, pull and lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
Must to able to stand for long periods of times.
Must be able to transport company documents to a identified location.
