I have over 10yrs. of background experience in the medical field where I've worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Nursing homes and home health setting. This is where I realized that I wanted to do more to help people but in a less stressful environment. I would rub my residents back, shoulders, neck, & legs at times just to help them relax. So many of them encouraged me to go back to school and further my education some of them encouraged me to go further into nursing and others said I should go into Massage Therapy because I had the right attitude and good hands. I chose Massage Therapy because it is such a rewarding and fulfilling career. I get to help people not only to relax, rejuvenate, and de-stress and at the same time I reap the same benefits, but also help ease their pain. I still get to help people which I love to do but in a totally relaxing and stress free environment. This is the most rewarding aspect of my job although it's not really a job but a way of life for me.
